In September 2013, China Central Tele Vision 10(CCTV-10) recorded two episodes of The Power of Science in our company, centering on precaution and notices of taking elevators to conduct simulated experiments.
With the rapid development of economy, elevators are widely used in various industries. Elevator accidents, however, emerge one after another, which causes people’s worries and fear. In order to guide citizens to regularly use an elevator and correctly respond to an elevator accident, CCTV conducted simulated experiments in Japan Sanyo Elevator Co., Ltd. to reveal the matter of elevator safety. Experiment 1: Overload Experiment 2: Using body to stop the closing cabin door Experiment 3: Trying to open the cabin door by hands when the elevator fails Experiment 4: Children are trapped into the skirt panel when wearing soft material shoes Experiment 5: Children’s hands and feet are closed to steps and skirt panel when they are taking an escalator |
